1. What cookies are

AIKI uses necessary technical cookies and, only if you accept them, Google analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, nor do we sell data.
- Parent session (httpOnly cookie): keeps the session securely signed in.
- Child profile session (httpOnly cookie): enables use of the child's profile.
- Cookie preference (localStorage): remembers your decision about this notice.
- Analytics (Google Analytics) (_ga and _ga_* cookies, third-party): measures aggregate use of the site. Duration approximately 2 years. Only installed if you accept them.
Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under the regulations on privacy in electronic communications.
3. Third-party cookies
Processes such as payment (Stripe) may set their own cookies needed to complete the transaction securely. We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to measure aggregate usage of the site and improve it; these analytics cookies are only installed after your prior consent in the cookie banner, and you can reject them by clicking “Only necessary”.
Google Analytics is a service provided by Google Ireland Ltd. that may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. As safeguards, Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can review Google's privacy policy and opt out of Google Analytics using its browser opt-out add-on.
4. How to manage cookies
You can withdraw or change your consent for analytics cookies at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, just as easily as you gave it. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that if you block technical cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use parts of the service.
